Lulu’s glow-up: ready for her fresh start
When Lulu arrived with us as a stray last November, it was clear this little Pug had already given a lot in her life. Likely used for breeding before being abandoned, she could have been withdrawn or worried - but that’s just not Lulu.

Instead, she’s affectionate, curious and full of character. A true people-lover who wants to be involved in everything, whether that’s heading out on a walk or soaking up fuss from anyone willing to offer it.
When she came into our care, Lulu needed some extra veterinary support to help her feel more comfortable long-term. Since then, she’s had surgery to improve her breathing, dental work and a procedure to remove painful facial folds that were prone to infection.
In short - Lulu’s had a full makeover and the difference is incredible. The hard work has been done, meaning her future care will be much more manageable for her new family.
Since heading into foster, her personality has really shone. She’s a cheerful, mostly chilled little dog who loves a lap but is equally happy snoozing in her bed or basking in a sunny spot in the garden. She enjoys her walks, travels well and can be left for a few hours without worry.

Like many friendly dogs, Lulu can get a little overexcited at times - a jump here, a bit of mouthiness there - but she responds brilliantly to calm, consistent guidance (especially when treats are involved!).
Lulu is ready to put the past behind her and settle into a loving home where she can truly belong.
