Visitors cannot walk around the catteries and kennels to see the animals, instead registered adopters are invited by appointment to meet their suitable matches. We can arrange visits for those interested in supporting us.
Our donation area is open from 9am-5pm every day, find it to the right as you enter the car park. You can leave pet and charity shop donations here. Please note that we do not take duvets, pillows, sleeping bags or mattresses. For more details about donating, please see Donating goods below.
Directions
We are at Claverton Down, between University of Bath and American Museum & Gardens.
By car
Head into the university entrance on Norwood Avenue and it is your first right. We are on The Avenue - East. Please note that The Avenue is split into two and sat navs with old details on will send you to the wrong half.
By bus
First Bus run buses regularly up to the University of Bath campus from town. Stops in town are opposite the bus station and on North Parade. At the university there is a stop opposite The Avenue, press the buzzer just as you turn into campus. By bike
We have cycle hoops available outside the main entrance. We are near to the Bath Two Tunnels circuit – head up Claverton Hill towards the University of Bath and you'll see us there. » Click here for a map of the Two Tunnels route on Sustrans website
Event field
Sometimes you may need to visit via our event field, for example for Wag Walk or if there are roadworks. This is located at the back of site, find the gate off Claverton Down Road. » See the entrance on What 3 Words
