In-house behaviour team

We recognise that some dogs need extra training to make them more 'homeable' so a behaviour team assesses and works with dogs to improve their manners and socialisation with situations and other dogs.

We adhere to strict RSPCA standards in dog training, with up-to-date, kind techniques.

As well as working with individual dogs, they looking at the site as a whole to improve welfare and quality of life.

If needed, the team provide adopters with a free advice and training sessions before adoption, and are available to help after adoption - free of charge. We have found that many settling-in issues can often be resolved with a short consultation, so reducing the number of returned animals.

We put the welfare of the animals in our care at the heart of everything we do.
