Rosie is a lovely, sweet girl looking for a home where someone will be home with her initially so she can settle at her own pace. Any time alone will need to be built up gradually. She’ll also need some further guidance on her housetraining in her new home along with other basic training going forward.

Rosie can be very affectionate and loves to say hello to new people as long as they are prepared to give her some attention! As much as she does love a fuss, she also really loves her down time and would benefit from having a quiet space to go to for a rest.

Being a young active girl, Rosie loves her walks! She walks nicely when there are no distractions but does have a high prey drive so at the first sign of wildlife or cats, Rosie can gain strength very quickly and will do her very best to try and catch whatever she’s seen! New owners must be aware that Rosie can become frustrated at not being able to get to something she wants to which will likely result in her becoming more reactive as time goes on.

Rosie gets on well with other dogs and loves to make new friends. However, if a dog can be a bit boisterous then she might shy away a little until they’ve calmed down. Rosie could live with a calm, well socialized dog pending mixes here at Bath Cats and Dog’s Home.

Rosie will make a great addition to an active home! She can live with older children and potentially other calm dogs.
