Dahlia is a beautiful young girl. She is very unsure of new people and so any introductions will be hands off and at her own pace - her new owners should be prepared to visit the Home plenty of times before adoption. She needs a home with experienced, understanding owners that will let her settle in gradually.

In the home, there will need to be limited visitors in order to manage Dahlia’s stress levels. When introduced to new people carefully, she builds a strong bond, but it takes time to gain her trust. Our behaviour team will be able to chat you through how to manage Dahlia in the home.

On the lead, Dahlia is strong and would benefit from training in this area. She needs to be walked in quiet areas away from other dogs so that she can relax and enjoy herself. She would enjoy having her own secure garden where she can play off lead safely as she will need to be kept on lead on walks.

Dahlia needs an adult only household and to be the only pet in the home. She will be an affectionate, playful girl once settled.
