Run for Rescue Pets has finished! Congratulations and a big thank you to all of our champions - we will announce a total that you all raised soon.

If you missed this challenge you can still set up one of your own - just let us know about it so we can support you by emailing

Find that spring in your step, by taking part in our Run for Rescue Pets! We challenge you to walk or run a half marathon (13.1 miles) or a marathon (26.2 miles) over the space of a month, between 15th May and 15th June!

Why then? We were due to have our annual Wag Walk event on Sunday 17th May, but sadly have had to postpone because of the coronavirus lockdown. But we still need to raise funds to care for hundreds of cats and dogs and we know that many of you want to do something to help.

You could even set your own challenge - whether its a marathon in a month, walking the equivalent distance of Bath to London, or even tackling 10k doing laps of your garden! Make it a challenge and make it fun! And complete it with or without your canine friends, if they are up for it too!

Remember to follow government guidance on daily exercise allowance and guidelines on social distancing when you’re out and about. To find out more visit DirectGov.
