Ernie
Ernie is a nervous boy looking for understanding and experienced owners. Once you have gained Ernie’s trust, he is a loyal companion and eager to learn. He is therefore looking for a home with an active lifestyle who enjoy training. Ernie does struggle to be left alone so is looking for a home with people around most of the time. Due to his nervous nature of new people, he cannot be rehomed in a household with any children/regular visiting children under the age of 12 years old. Ernie is under-socialised with other dogs so is looking to be the only dog in the home with owners who have knowledge of slowly and positively socialising a nervous young dog.
Due to his age, we are looking to have him rehomed as soon as possible so please do get in touch if you feel you could offer Ernie a home. If you are registered, give us a call on 01225 787331. If you are not registered, you are welcome to apply but please bear in mind that we reserve the right to rehome him to the most suitable match as quickly as possible to reduce his stay in kennels.

Nervous dogs

There are lots of different reasons that your dog might be nervous of new people, or in new situations - we say don’t worry about why but focus on spotting the signs and taking action.
