Our Ambassadors

Sharron Davies MBE

Sharron Davies, Double Commonwealth Gold and Olympics Silver swimming star and TV personality is a keen animal lover who has always had dogs and cats in her home. Here she is meeting Ethel the Yorkshire Terrier, one of our residents who hasn’t had much love in her life and is making up for lost time!

"Their need is so great", says Sharron. "Please consider adopting from Bath Cats and Dogs Home. Adopting a rescue animal into your home is very rewarding – because they often know the difference between not being loved and being loved."

Kate Harbour

Kate Harbour is a well-known voice actress who lives locally, and recently adopted her tortoiseshell kitten Strawberry from us. Kate is the voice of many childrens’ programme characters such as Wendy, Dizzy, Pilchard and more in the much-loved TV series Bob the Builder and also sings with her band The Belle Fleurs.

'I am delighted to be more closely involved with the work of Bath Cats and Dogs Home, especially their work educating children about rehoming the animals and responsible pet ownership.’

Amy Williams MBE

Amy Williams, Gold winning medallist at the 2010 Winter Olympics and TV personality, is Bath Cats and Dogs Home’s newest Ambassador. We’re thrilled that Amy is supporting the Home, and BCDH is a charity that Amy knows well, as a teenager Amy used to volunteer her time walking the dogs in our care! Most recently Amy has adopted 2 gorgeous kittens from the Home, Captain and Shadow, who are already much loved and fitting in perfectly.
