Scampie is a sweet lad who likes affection but on his own terms. He is a friendly chap that can be grumpy, so will need an owner who is familiar with the breed as he can be a little naughty – just a typical Jack Russell really!

He loves sunbathing and is happy that spring has sprung at the Home. When it is cold he loves curling up on his bed.

He hates visiting the vets and because of this will need to be muzzled. He enjoys his walks and is good on the lead tending to take his time plodding along and likes it if the walks are short ones, but care needs to be taken when out and about with regards to other canines.

He knows a few basic commands but as he enjoys treats any further training shouldn't be a problem. Scampie is normally nice and quiet and not destructive when left for short periods, enjoying snuggling under his duvet in his bed together until you return.

He is good with some other dogs but best to homed as the only dog, is not good with cats and would suit a family household where any children are aged 14+.
