Grant was both a star of our AGM literature last year and also of a volunteer's blog - click here to see some gorgeous pictures and video.
Grant is a happy, sweet natured, affectionate lad that loves a cuddle and a fuss. As he is still youthful Grant is playful, excitable and full of energy; but when he gets carried away he can become quite boisterous and is yet to learn when that behaviour is not appropriate! He is finding kennel life very stressful so look beyond this behaviour as he is so different when away from all the other dogs.
Grant loves meeting new people as he is very friendly and affectionate. He is quite obedient and knows a few basic commands but has more work to do in this area but is very easily distracted but further training shouldn’t be a problem as he is always still young and eager to please.
He enjoys his walks but is very strong on lead bit walks better on a halti however, tends to bark at other dogs whilst on site. However, once off site away from all this, he is a completely different and loving dog.
Grant would need an active household where he can get the exercise and stimulation he needs. It would be best if he were homed as the only dog as he does not get on with other dogs.
