Volunteering with people

We're all spirited when it comes to our pets, and having a friendly face to help and listen can make a visit to our Home a special one. If you have the patience, people-skills and passion then we want to hear from you!

Weekend visitor desk

Help at the front reception desk during our busiest time providing advice and directions to visitors. A cheerful disposition essential! Training will be provided.

Shops

Our in-house shop and the Frome charity shop both need volunteers. You will be sorting donations, pricing stock, helping customers, operating the till and providing friendly conversation.

Fundraising volunteer

You can help at events or in the office at the Home. At events we need help manning stalls, serving teas and helping with activities such as face painting. In the office we need help with stuffing envelopes, filing and counting money.
