I've lost my pet
Stray animals are handed into us by dog wardens and members of the public. We hold them for seven days but if they have not been claimed after that then they will be signed over to the Home and eligible for re-homing.
To find out if your lost pet has been handed in, please call our reception on 01225 787321.
The Government impose a £25 fine which you must pay before claiming your animal. We also charge for kennelling and food costs incurred. The charge is £44.40 for the first night, plus £9.40 for every extra day.
We recommend that you microchip your pet to enable you to be reunited quickly and easily. Find out more here.
