In sickness and in health

Our Poorly Pets Appeal has gained momentum – thank you to everyone who has donated so far. We have so far raised £12,163 (and 25 pence!) so we need one final push to reach our £15,000 target.

Here is where the money gets used:

Kush, a Jack Russell puppy, was brought in with a broken leg. His owners didn’t want to pay for the treatment so he came to us instead. After treatment in our on-site vet suite it is now healing well. He gets over-attached to anyone who looks after him – and as he is staying at a variety of staff homes each night then he has a lot of mummies and daddies! We are happy to say that he has a new owner waiting to take him home once he has fully recovered.

Rufus who has had to have an eye removed after a road traffic collision, and Holly was hand-reared here after losing her mother and siblings in a road traffic collision. Rufus we are happy to say has just found a home but Holly is still looking.

Pets are our responsibility whether healthy or sick. There is help if you are struggling with fees with our Veterinary Scheme or you can try the charity PDSA which has a hospital in Bristol.
