Baby, it’s cold outside

A small photo blog for you to enjoy!

Our animal carers worked every day this festive season - yes that included Christmas day and every day it snowed – and on Boxing Day they went for a special walk out together with lots of our dogs too. As you can see the dogs ran off-lead… and all came back! The dogs had a lovely play and were suitably exhausted ready for dinner and bedtime when they got back to their kennels. Please remember to say thank you to the carers when you adopt an animal from us, they do so much work to keep all of them as happy as possible during their stay here.

Dan (from C block) took lots of photos of the Boxing Day walk, see if you can spot any dogs (or carers!) you know. Click any picture to make it bigger.

You may remember these playful sisters who were with us during the summer. They were a big hit during Open Day. Their new owners were lovely enough to send us pictures of them settled in their new home.

Picture 4

Pickles was a long-stay dog who is a real character. He had many friends at the Home and it was challenging to re-home him, but we are pleased to let everyone know that he has settled with his new owner brilliantly. She has been kind enough to send in some photos of him.
