Mission statement

To shelter and care for unwanted animals in the Bath,
northeast Somerset and west Wiltshire areas, until they are successfully re-homed.

The Home encourages good health, welfare and improved quality of life for all animals through promoting responsible pet ownership.

Re-homing Policy

Bath Cats and Dogs Home operates a re-homing policy based on the individual needs of each animal and welcomes interest from potential adopters. We oppose all forms of unfair discriminationon the grounds of colour, race, nationality, ethnic or national origin, sex, sexual orientation, marital status, religion or belief, age or disability.

We believe it is in the Home's (and the animals in our care) best interests to recognise the value of each and every potential adopter.

Every possible step will be taken to ensure that potential adopters are treated equally and fairly and that decisions on re-homing an animal are based solely on the needs of individual animals.
